Roof Truss
The strength of Roof Truss System lies in their ability to resist vertical pressure. Pressure applied to the side of the truss can cause damage, including bowing or breakage. When a truss is delivered to your home from the lumber yard, make sure to lay the truss flat on the ground. Do not lean it against a wall or put anything heavy on top of it. When moving the truss always move it in a vertical position. Do not lift it so that it is horizontal. If you are putting a truss onto a large home, or you do not have enough help to move the truss properly, consider hiring a crane to lift it into place.
